Ramon Serrato’s passion for education began during his twenty-year career in the United States Marine Corps, a significant portion of which was spent in vocational training and educational activities. His hard work and dedication to instruction were recognized by the USMC with nominations for Instructor of the Quarter and of the Year. Mr. Serrato later became the Education Service Chief (ESC) at the Marine Corps Logistics Base. In this capacity, he opened the first fully functional Base Education and Training Center, providing educational counseling, tuition assistance, and testing services to military personnel and their families.

Mr. Serrato received commendations from the Military Installation Voluntary Education Review (MIVER) team for his exemplary performance in providing educational opportunities to base personnel and their family members, including professional development and training that complemented the installation’s mission.

Serrato’s Journey Through Proven Training Excellence.

His extensive experience in military training and as an ESC gained Serrato Corporation’s first contracting opportunity with the United States Marine Corps’ Lifelong Learning program where he managed educational counselors, testing, tuition, and drug and alcohol personnel at several different locations.

Since that first contract, Mr. Serrato has led Serrato Corporation through several ventures to include the provision of services for Title I Supplemental Educational Services (SES), improving literacy and numeracy skills in public schools in Missouri, Wisconsin, Texas, and Virginia. Mr. Serrato continues to provide the leadership and management to continue to build Serrato to promote perpetual learning.
